What is Winter Wanderland?
Winter Wanderland is a collection of holiday events happening in and around Battle Creek. Join in celebrating this magical time of year and wander all around our beautiful city to get into the holiday spirit. Special events happening December 6-7, 2024.

Special events will be on Friday, December 6 and Saturday, December 7, 2024. Information on all the jolly events can be found belo-ho-ho.
Friday, December 6
Holiday Night Bazaar
Kellogg Arena & Festival Market Square
Friday, December 6, 2024: 4-8 pm
This holiday themed event is a fusion of The Night Market hosted by The Battle Creek Farmers Market and the Breaking Bred Bazaar hosted by Cafe Rica. Craft vendors will be set-up inside Kellogg Arena, along with holiday event activities.
Event activities include:
- Santa Meet & Greet
- The Grinch Meet & Greet
- Bounce Houses
- Cookie Decorating
- Indoor Snowball Fight
- MYO Mini Holiday Wreath
- Chiropractic adjustments & massages
- Ugly Sweater Contest @ 6PM
- Holiday Carolers (Festival Market Square)

Horse Drawn Wagon Rides

Friday, December 6, 2024: 5-8 pm
Dash through the snow in a one horse open sleigh around downtown Battle Creek. Rides are free of charge. Wagon rides will ONLY operate out of Festival Market Square. Click the button below to see the wagon ride route.
Rides will be available from 5-8 pm. Wagons can hold 12-14 people and will be running continuously every 25 minutes. Horse drawn wagon rides provided by Twinn Pines Carriages.
ALL WAGON RIDES ARE FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. BE SURE TO GET THERE EARLY TO SECURE YOUR BOARDING PASS TICKET.

Tinsel Toes 5k
Downtown Battle Creek
Saturday, December 7, 2024: 5:30-6:30 pm
The Tinsel Toes 5k is a festive, family fun run through the beautiful light displays in Downtown Battle Creek. The Tinsel Toes 5k is open to runners and walkers, and is stroller friendly. This is not a timed event.
Festive fun is sure to be had with fun photo booth opportunities, free course photos, and fun prize opportunities.
The Tinsel Toes 5k is proud to partner with Girls on the Run of Calhoun County as a charity partner.
